Human Initiative has commenced the launch series of the 2026 Sebar Qurban Programme in Telaga Banyak Village, Bayan Subdistrict, North Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. This event marks the beginning of efforts to connect the potential of livestock farmers with the needs of communities in various regions.

Under the theme “Broaden the Impact of Qurban”, the programme invites the public to view qurban as an act of worship that brings broader benefits. Beyond strengthening spiritual values, qurban also plays a role in supporting food security and stimulating the local economy.

The event was attended by around 200 participants, including Human Initiative management, the Deputy Regent of North Lombok and his team, community figures, local farmers, and residents. The public could also watch the event via live broadcast on Human Initiative’s official channels.

Human Initiative Vice President, Romi Ardiansyah, stated that the programme is designed to expand the benefits of qurban through various approaches.

“Sebar Qurban has three main missions: facilitating worship, mobilising local farmers, and sharing joy with communities. From this, we aim for qurban to provide more equitable and sustainable benefits,” he said.

North Lombok Deputy Regent, Kusmalahadi Syamsuri, S.T., M.T., highlighted the importance of involvement from various parties in implementing the programme in society.

“To address various community challenges, we need collaboration with various parties, including Human Initiative as a strategic partner. We also encourage the public not only to be recipients but to participate in qurban through the various channels provided,” he stated.

The series of activities included programme presentations, a launch ceremony, local cultural performances, and a talkshow featuring stories from farmers and communities. Through these sessions, participants could see how qurban has a tangible impact on daily life.

In 2026, the Sebar Qurban Programme targets distributing benefits to around 309,000 programme recipients. The distribution is planned to reach 27 provinces, 134 regencies or cities, and 145 areas in Indonesia, extending to 11 countries abroad. This effort demonstrates the programme’s direction to broaden the reach of qurban benefits more equitably.

West Nusa Tenggara Province, particularly North Lombok Regency, was chosen as the kickoff location due to its strong community spirit of mutual cooperation and a supportive ecosystem of local farmers with potential to be empowered. On the other hand, the socio-economic conditions of the community also drive the equitable distribution of qurban meat from year to year.

Togetherness forms the foundation of this movement. When various parties are involved and proceed together, the benefits of qurban can reach further and be sustainable.

Human Initiative invites the public to participate in the 2026 Sebar Qurban Programme through solusipeduli.org. Qurban can be a simple step that brings benefits to more people.
