2026 Pension THR Payout Begins Simultaneously From Today — Check Your Account Now

PT TASPEN (Persero) has officially begun disbursing the 2026 Tunjangan Hari Raya (THR) to pension recipients across Indonesia. The strategic step is being implemented simultaneously from Thursday, 5 March, to support purchasing power ahead of Idul Fitri. The distribution covers 3,234,556 pensioners across various regions. TASPEN is leveraging an integrated payment system in collaboration with 45 official paying partners to ensure funds reach those entitled without technical difficulties.

Corporate Secretary Henra stated that the THR disbursement is a form of the highest expression of the state’s appreciation for retirees’ service. He confirmed that all administrative processes have been optimised to facilitate smooth distribution. ‘For us, the THR is not merely a obligation; it is a tribute to the dedication of retirees to the country. TASPEN has optimised the entire system so that the disbursement runs smoothly in line with the 5T principles: Right Person, Right Amount, Right Time, Right Place, and Right Administration,’ Henra said in a press release from Jakarta.

The THR amount this year is calculated based on the salary components paid in February 2026. The following are the components that make up the THR pensioners’ nominal amount.

TASPEN emphasises that THR payments are not subject to any deductions for contributions or loan repayments. Income Tax (PPh) on this THR is fully borne by the government in accordance with applicable legislation.

For pensioners who retired by February 2026 or earlier and whose first pension payment was after 25 February 2026, the THR will still be paid starting 5 March 2026.

The government also regulates the mechanism for pensioners with dual status or multiple sources of income.

Given the high enthusiasm for cash disbursement, TASPEN asks retirees to be vigilant against fraud. Members of the public are reminded not to provide personal data, account numbers, PINs, or OTPs to any party claiming to act on behalf of TASPEN.
