2026 Lebaran Return Flow: Jogja-Jakarta Toll Fees Reach Rp 600,000
Travellers returning to the capital via land routes should prepare their travel expenses carefully, particularly for crossing the Trans Java Toll Road segments. According to data from the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT), the toll fee from Yogyakarta to Jakarta for Group I vehicles (private cars) amounts to hundreds of thousands of rupiah, depending on the segments traversed. The toll fee is not a single amount but an accumulation of several toll road segments along the journey. For the route from Yogyakarta to Jakarta, the trip begins on the Solo-Yogyakarta segment via the Prambanan Toll Gate at Rp 57,000. Next, travellers will cross the Semarang-Solo Toll at Rp 92,000, then enter the Semarang ABC Toll at Rp 6,000. Finally, they will enter the Jakarta-Cikampek segment at Rp 27,000 before arriving in the Jakarta area. If accumulated, the total toll fee to prepare for the journey from Yogyakarta to Jakarta reaches around Rp 622,500 for Group I vehicles. This is important to avoid obstacles during transactions at toll gates, especially amid the high volume of vehicles during the Lebaran return flow. In addition, thorough travel planning, including choosing departure times and ensuring vehicle condition, is key to keeping the return flow journey smooth, safe, and comfortable.
