The 2026 Hajj Armuzna phase in Arafah, Muzdalifah, and Mina has officially concluded. All Indonesian Hajj pilgrims, including those who opted for Nafar Tsani, have left the Mina area to return to their respective hotels in Mecca.

The conclusion of this critical phase was confirmed by Indonesia’s Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah (Wamenhaj), Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak, during his inspection of the final pilgrim movements in Mina on Saturday, 30 May, which coincided with 13 Dzulhijjah 1447 AH.

“Today marks the departure of Hajj pilgrims opting for Nafar Tsani, the final group following yesterday’s Nafar Awal departure. All our pilgrims who completed the stoning of the Jamarat have now finished their rituals,” Dahnil stated.

Dahnil confirmed that by 15:00 Arabia Standard Time (AST), all Indonesian Hajj tents in Mina were empty. “Mina is clear of our pilgrims. They have returned to their hotels and are preparing for further activities in the Holy Land,” he added.

Overall, Dahnil assessed this year’s Armuzna phase as smooth with significant management improvements, though he acknowledged critical feedback requiring thorough evaluation.

“We have received feedback from various stakeholders. Regarding tent services and the murur scheme, these will be subject to detailed review,” Dahnil explained.

Following the Armuzna phase, Hajj operations have entered the next critical stage: repatriating pilgrims to Indonesia. Dahnil instructed all officials to remain on standby and provide responsive service at the pilgrims’ hotels.

He also urged Hajj and Umrah Guidance Groups (KBIHU) and independent pilgrims to maintain their physical health. “We advise pilgrims to remain orderly and avoid excessive physical activity to ensure their well-being until their scheduled flight back to Indonesia,” he concluded.

Appreciation was extended to cooperative pilgrims and dedicated officials who worked tirelessly during the Mina rituals.

Saudi Arabia has declared the 1447 AH (2026) Hajj pilgrimage a success.

Saudi Arabia’s Hajj Service Personnel (PPIH) have begun preparing the repatriation scheme for Indonesian Hajj pilgrims, set to commence on 1 June.

Chairman of Indonesia’s Commission VIII DPR and Hajj Oversight Team member Marwan Dasopang highlighted crowd congestion in the Mina area.

A total of 132,568 Hajj pilgrims opting for Nafar Awal began moving from their Mina tents to Mecca on Friday, 29 May (12 Dzulhijjah 1447 AH).

Thousands of Indonesian Hajj pilgrims who chose Nafar Awal completed the stoning of the Jamarat on 12 Dzulhijjah and began returning to Mecca.
