2026 Free Homecoming Programme by the Ministry of Transportation: Requirements, Registration Process, and 34 Destination Cities
The Directorate General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation has officially prepared the 2026 Lebaran Free Homecoming Programme with a total of 401 buses. This programme is designed to accommodate 15,834 passengers in order to reduce the use of motorcycles on highways, which pose a high risk.
The Director General of Land Transportation, Aan Suhanan, stated that registration will open on 1st March 2026. “Registration will be carried out online via the nusantara.kemenhub.go.id website and will be closed as soon as the quota is met,” he said in an official statement in Jakarta.

Important Note: The handover of motorcycles for the homecoming flow will take place on 16th March 2026 at the Pondok Cabe Terminal before departure that evening.
