2026 Education Budget Realisation Reaches Rp56.5 Trillion

Deputy Finance Minister Suahasil Nazara reported that the realisation of the 2026 education budget has reached Rp56.5 trillion, or 7.4 per cent of the state budget (APBN) target of Rp769.1 trillion.

The budget has been allocated to support the education ecosystem, including the Indonesia Pintar (Smart Indonesia) Programme, KIP Kuliah (Higher Education Smart Indonesia Card), and the Free Nutritious Meals programme.

The government has also budgeted for the construction of an additional 104 Sekolah Rakyat (People’s Schools) this year.
