The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the peak of the 2026 dry season will generally occur in July, August, and September 2026. The peak is forecasted across 12.26 per cent of Indonesia’s land area in July 2026, expanding significantly to 48.84 per cent in August 2026, and covering 25.41 per cent in September 2026.
