2026 Civil Service Holiday Allowance Disbursed in Tranches; Check Amounts and Components
The government has begun disbursing the 2026 Holiday Allowance (Tunjangan Hari Raya, THR) to state apparatus in tranches from 26 February 2026. The Holiday Allowance for civil servants (aparatur negara) is being distributed to civil servants (ASN), including permanent civil servants (PNS), contract-based state apparatus (PPPK), TNI personnel, police officers, and retirees.
With the commencement of 2026 civil service holiday allowance disbursement, state apparatus have been urged to check their individual accounts. The disbursement timing may vary because the administrative process at each central and regional institution differs.
“Holiday allowance disbursement commenced in tranches from 26 February and is being provided to PNS, CPNS, PPPK, state officials, TNI personnel, police officers, and retirees,” stated an official at a media gathering in Jakarta on Tuesday, 3 March 2026.
This means 2026 civil service holiday allowance funds have already begun being transferred to recipient accounts, although the process is occurring in tranches across each institution.
The funds have been received by approximately 631,000 employees out of a total of approximately 2.2 million central government civil servants.
“Today it has been disbursed; perhaps yesterday it had not yet, some have already received it,” said an official during an iftar gathering with journalists at the Ministry of Finance on Friday, 6 March 2026.
This simultaneously addresses public questions regarding when the 2026 retiree civil service holiday allowance will be disbursed, which in practice has also begun being distributed in tranches.
According to officials, the 2026 civil service holiday allowance and other state apparatus disbursement process follows administrative readiness at each respective institution.
“Everything is ready; it is simply a matter of how quickly they disburse it,” the official stated.
The value increased by approximately 10 per cent compared to the previous year’s realisation, which reached Rp49 trillion.
