2025 Tax Return Submissions Exceed 5.74 Million; Coretax Account Activation Reaches 15.14 Million

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) has recorded that the number of annual income tax return (SPT) filings for Tax Year 2025 has reached 5,743,722 SPT as of 4 March 2026. Director of Taxation Education, Services, and Public Relations of DJP, Inge Diana Rismawanti, said all filings were conducted electronically through the Coretax DJP system. ‘Of the total, 5,741,280 SPT were submitted through Coretax DJP and 2,442 SPT through Coretax Form,’ she said in an official statement on Wednesday (4 March 2026). Meanwhile, corporate taxpayers reporting in rupiah numbered 124,888 SPT and in US dollars 113 SPT. For taxpayers with a different financial year (which began reporting as of 1 August 2025), corporate taxpayers in rupiah numbered 990 SPT and in US dollars 21 SPT. In addition to SPT reporting, Inge also noted that progress in activating Coretax accounts continues to rise. As of 4 March 2026, the number of taxpayers who have activated their Coretax accounts reached 15,142,378. DJP urged taxpayers to report their Annual Tax Return before the deadline to avoid administrative sanctions and to ensure tax compliance remains maintained.
