JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The listed pharmaceutical and medical device distributor PT Medela Potentia Tbk (MDLA) will distribute a cash dividend for the 2025 fiscal year amounting to Rp176,561,595,000, equivalent to Rp12.6 per share. This decision was made at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) in Jakarta on Tuesday (12/5/2026), which also appointed Juliwaty as the new President Director amid the company’s sales growth in the first quarter of 2026.

In addition to approving the dividend distribution, the AGMS also determined changes to the board of directors and the company’s growth strategy for this year.

“The company is maintaining a regular dividend of 40 percent of net profit, while adding an extra dividend of 5 percent. The total dividend distributed reaches Rp12.6 per share, an increase of 28.5 percent compared to the previous year,” stated Company Secretary of PT Medela Potentia Tbk, Wimala Widjaja, in a press release on Tuesday (12/5/2026).

Wimala said that the dividend distribution reflects the company’s commitment to continuously providing added value to shareholders since becoming a publicly listed company.

In the previous year, the company distributed a dividend of 40 percent of net profit. For the 2025 fiscal year, the dividend payout ratio has been increased to 45 percent of net profit.

At the AGMS, shareholders also approved the resignation of Krestijanto Pandji from the position of President Director. The company expressed appreciation for Krestijanto’s contributions in strengthening corporate governance, business transformation, and improving corporate performance.

As his replacement, the AGMS appointed Juliwaty as the company’s President Director. Prior to taking this position, Juliwaty was the President Director of PT Anugrah Argon Medica, a subsidiary of PT Medela Potentia Tbk.

According to the company, the changes to the board of directors are expected to maintain leadership continuity while enhancing the company’s performance amid the dynamics of the healthcare industry.

“This leadership change is expected to further strengthen the organisational foundation and drive the acceleration of the company’s business strategy on a sustainable basis,” said Wimala.

This growth has also driven a 7.4 percent increase in net profit for the period to Rp119.32 billion in the first quarter of 2026. Meanwhile, the company’s revenue grew 3.4 percent compared to the same period last year.

This performance was supported by pharmaceutical product sales reaching Rp3.26 trillion, an increase from Rp2.7 trillion in the same period last year.

In addition, medical device sales contributed Rp394.5 billion, while health products contributed Rp380.2 billion.

In line with efforts to maintain growth, the company is also strengthening its business foundation through the development of national distribution infrastructure, including plans to inaugurate a new building and warehouse for the Medan branch of PT Anugrah Argon Medica.

This step is part of efforts to expand pharmaceutical distribution services in western Indonesia.

In the first quarter of 2026, the company also realised the addition of three new principals to strengthen the portfolio and competitive position of the company.

On the other hand, the company is exploring collaborations with global medical device companies as part of business diversification and enhancing the added value of the portfolio.

“The company continues to strengthen the growth foundation through the development of distribution infrastructure, addition of principals, and exploration of strategic collaborations in the medical device business with global partners to bring quality products manufactured domestically,” said Investor Relations Director of PT Medela Potentia Tbk, Harris Lesmana.
