Jakarta - The Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM recorded investment realisation of Rp1,931.2 trillion throughout 2025. This achievement exceeded the government’s target and absorbed approximately 2.71 million workers.

Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM Rosan Perkasa Roeslani stated that the realisation reached 101.3 per cent of the target. He noted the figure increased by 12.7 per cent compared to the previous year.

“In 2025, it reached Rp1,931.2 trillion, exceeding the target at 101.3 per cent and growing 12.7 per cent compared to the previous year. This achievement absorbed 2.71 million Indonesian workers, an increase of 10.4 per cent,” Rosan said during a working meeting with Commission XII of the House of Representatives at the Parliament Complex in Senayan, Jakarta, on Wednesday, 15 July 2026.

Rosan explained that more than half of the investment realisation came from Domestic Direct Investment. Its value reached Rp1,030.3 trillion, or approximately 53.4 per cent of the total national investment.

Meanwhile, Foreign Direct Investment reached Rp900.9 trillion, or around 46.6 per cent. According to him, more than half of the investment also flowed outside Java.

“More than half flowed outside Java, 51.3 per cent or Rp991.2 trillion. This shows that investment is increasingly evenly distributed across Indonesia,” he said.

In addition, downstream sector investment realisation reached Rp584.1 trillion throughout 2025. This value grew by 43.3 per cent and contributed 30.2 per cent to the total national investment realisation.

“As much as 71.1 per cent of it is located outside Java. This is a tangible manifestation of efforts to create added value domestically while promoting equitable distribution,” he stated.

On the occasion, Rosan emphasised that the investment achievement was attained despite adjustments to the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming’s budget. He expressed hope that the House of Representatives’ support would continue so that future national investment targets could be met.
