200 Madura Residents from RMP4 Ready to Go to Jakarta to Support Government Programmes

A total of 200 residents, acting on behalf of the Relawan Madura Pengawal Program Presiden Prabowo (RMP4), have rallied in Bangkalan Regency. They voiced full support for the national priority programmes of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.

The hundreds of people gathered under the RMP4 banner come from various backgrounds, including becak drivers, construction workers, catfish farm labourers, drivers, and sales employees.

The presence of RMP4 members in Bangkalan Regency was a response to the wave of protests against the MBG programme staged by students near the Bundaran HI area in Jakarta on 18 August 2026.

RMP4 action coordinator Mahrus Ali said that the people of Madura strongly support the MBG programme because it is greatly needed by children. Therefore, he said, an evaluation of its management is needed, including an evaluation of all SPPG units.

“It is not the MBG programme that should be stopped, but rather supervision of the SPPG must be improved because the MBG programme is greatly needed by our children,” Mahrus said.

Efforts to support the continuity of President Prabowo Subianto’s priority programmes are not only being carried out through spontaneous actions by RMP4 members in Bangkalan Regency. They are also ready to depart for Jakarta to give full support to the president’s priority programmes.

“On 27 August, we will depart from Madura to Jakarta to hold a peaceful demonstration, to guard Jakarta, to guard Indonesia. We will prepare 500 tickets for the departure,” he concluded.
