The Denpasar Civil Registry and Population Records Office (Disdukcapil) has recorded that 2,674 residents have yet to undergo electronic ID card (e-KTP) recording. Ni Putu Puji Astuti, Head of Population Registration Services at Disdukcapil Denpasar, stated that the total population of Denpasar stands at 680,700 residents.
“Based on the data results, there are still 2,674 individuals who have not completed their initial e-KTP recording,” said Puji Astuti on Monday (4/5/2026).
Since January 2026, 523,282 residents have been categorised as compulsory ID holders (WKTP). However, only 520,608 have completed the recording. This achievement equates to 99.46%, rising to 99.70% in March 2026.
“If calculated as a percentage, it stands at 99.46%. However, the number of compulsory ID holders increased in March to 99.70%,” she explained.
By sub-district, the number of residents yet to record is distributed as follows: 351 in West Denpasar, 332 in South Denpasar, 281 in North Denpasar, and 201 in East Denpasar.
On another note, Disdukcapil has also recorded 1,165 residents who have just turned 17 and have completed their e-KTP recording. Regarding blank form availability, Puji assured that stocks are sufficient, with approximately 2,797 blanks on hand.
“The supply of blanks is still safe. This includes for issuing e-KTPs to residents whose cards are lost and those needing repairs,” she concluded.
