A total of 2,602 job vacancies from 30 companies will be available at the job fair held as part of the peak celebration of Denpasar City’s 238th anniversary and the 2026 D’Tik Festival. The Denpasar City Labour and Competency Certification Office (Disnaker dan SK) aims for 60% or approximately 1,200 positions to be filled.

Head of the Denpasar City Labour Office, I Gusti Ayu Ngurah Raini, explained that initially, 56 companies expressed interest in participating. However, after the verification process, only 30 companies were deemed to meet the criteria.

“Initially, 56 companies wanted to participate, but we verified to ensure that all school graduates could be accommodated, not just one type. Also, based on last year’s experience, many companies did not report their hiring numbers after the job fair,” said Raini during a press conference for the Peak Celebration of Denpasar City’s Anniversary and the 2026 D’Tik Festival at the Dharma Negara Alaya Building, Thursday (February 26, 2026).

Previously, the Labour Office implemented a Minimum Service Standard (SPM) with a target of 40% job placement from each job fair. For this anniversary event, the target has been increased to 60%.

“Considering the companies participating, we are targeting around 60%, or 1,200 out of the 2,602 available job vacancies,” added Raini.

She emphasized that the number of hires cannot be determined immediately after the event. The selection process will follow the mechanisms and needs of each company.

“Because these job vacancies are open until the quota is met,” said Raini.

Involving KP3MI, There are Overseas Job Vacancies

This job fair also involves the Indonesian Migrant Workers Service and Protection Coordination (KP3MI) due to the high interest in working abroad. The available vacancies include overseas placements, banking, and the technology sector.

Deputy Mayor of Denpasar, I Kadek Agus Arya Wibawa, invited the public, especially young people, to take advantage of this opportunity.

“Please invite people to come. Make use of opportunities like this, especially young people who are looking for jobs. Out of the 2,600 vacancies, there are overseas jobs, banking jobs, and technology jobs,” said Arya Wibawa.

The Peak Celebration of Denpasar City’s 238th Anniversary and the 2026 D’Tik Festival will be held for three days, from Friday (February 27, 2026) to Sunday (March 1), starting at 08:00 Wita. The event will take place at Taman Lumintang and the Dharma Negara Alaya Building and is open to the public. In addition to the job fair, the series of events will also include exhibitions, seminars, workshops, competitions, and a food bazaar.
