Banda Aceh (ANTARA) - The North Aceh Regency Government (Pemkab Aceh Utara) has distributed living allowance aid sourced from the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) to 2,313 victims of floods and landslides in five villages in the Sawang sub-district. “The aid we are distributing is for residents in five villages whose data has undergone a tiered verification and validation process,” said the North Aceh Regency Government Spokesperson Muntasir Ramli when contacted in Banda Aceh on Wednesday. He mentioned that the living allowance aid was symbolically distributed by North Aceh Regent Ismail A Jalil, or familiarly known as Ayah Wa, amounting to Rp3.1 billion to 2,313 aid recipients or 625 family heads in the five villages. The five villages in question are Gampong Blang Reuling, Blang Teurakan, Krueng Baro, Lagang, and Paya Rabo Timu. He added that residents who have not yet received the living allowance should be patient as they are still in the verification and validation process. “Once the verification and validation process is complete and the data is declared complete, the disbursement process will be carried out immediately,” said Regent Muntasir Ramli. He noted that the flash floods that hit the regency affected 852 villages spread across 27 sub-districts.
