Jakarta (ANTARA) - A total of 2,241 Civil Servants (ASN) have completed the second wave of Basic Military Training (Latsarmil) for the Reserve Component (Komcad).

The training was concluded by the civil servants following its commencement on 24 August 2026.

“The training opened on 24 August and closed on 29 September 2026. With a total of 2,241 participants, consisting of 1,480 men and 761 women,” stated the Head of the National Reserve Agency of the Ministry of Defence, Lieutenant General TNI Gabriel Lema, while reading the report during the closing ceremony of the second wave of ASN Komcad Latsarmil at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, East Jakarta, on Tuesday.

Gabriel explained that during the training, participants underwent basic military exercises, including physical training and other athletic activities.

In addition, participants also delved into subjects related to the enhancement of nationalism and patriotism.

By deepening their understanding of nationalism, it is hoped that civil servants can implement these values by working with greater enthusiasm within their respective agencies.

Gabriel stated that the requirement for ASN Komcad for 2026 has been met. He confirmed that the third wave will be opened in 2027.

However, he did not specify the exact date for the commencement of the ASN Komcad Basic Military Training.
