The Tangerang City Manpower Office (Disnaker) in Banten Province has announced that 16 companies are participating in the Independence Edition Online Job Fair, offering 2,126 job vacancies.

Head of the Tangerang City Manpower Office, Ujang Hendra Gunawan, said the job fair will run for three weeks from 12 to 31 August 2026.

“This Job Fair is being held for three weeks, from 12 to 31 August. A total of 16 companies have prepared 69 job positions with a total of 2,126 vacancies,” Ujang said in a statement on Thursday, 13 August 2026.

According to him, the vacancies cover the SMA/SMK level with 1,998 positions, D3 with 68 positions, and S1 with 60 positions.

The fields of work are also diverse, ranging from operations, finance, IT, overseas job opportunities (Turkey and Japan), to logistics partnerships through more than a dozen leading national companies.

“Hopefully these job vacancies will be a momentum for people to apply until they secure the jobs they hope for, unemployment decreases and the community becomes more prosperous,” he said.

Job seekers can register digitally through the official Tangerang City Government application, the Tangerang LIVE App, available on Google Play Store or App Store.

Next, go to the Tangerang Cakap Kerja service menu, select the Online Job Fair feature, complete personal data and upload the required qualification documents, select the desired company and job position, then submit the application directly.

It should be noted that the Tangerang City Gampang Kerja Programme throughout 2025 absorbed 2,034 job seekers through Job Fairs and channelled 6,206 job seekers through 116 Special Job Exchanges.

The Gampang Kerja Programme has also helped reduce the open unemployment rate in Tangerang City from 5.92 percent in 2024 to 5.88 percent in 2025.
