2,019 Civil Servants Pass Initial Komcad Selection

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - A total of 2,019 civil servants (ASN) candidates for the Komponen Cadangan have passed the initial selection and will proceed to the training barracks process.

The Indonesian Ministry of Defence (Kemhan) held a send-off event for Komponen Cadangan candidates from civil servants in ministries and agencies at the Monas area on Monday morning (13/4/2026).

The Head of the Komponen Cadangan Centre of the National Reserve Agency (Bacatanas) of Kemhan, Brigadier General Hengki Yuda Setiawan, explained that this activity is part of the competence selection stages for ASN Komcad in the 2026 Fiscal Year.

Of that number, 2,115 people underwent health examinations.

“As a result, 2,019 participants were declared to have passed and are eligible to proceed to the next selection stage, while 96 participants did not pass,” said Hengki, during the departure roll call at the Monas area.

He elaborated that the selection process began with administrative checks from 2 to 27 March 2026 at each ministry and agency.

“After that, physical, psychological, and ideological mental data collection was conducted from 13 to 17 April 2026 at six educational institutions,” stated Hengki.

The six locations included Puskombelneg BPSDM Kemhan, Rindam Jaya, Pusdikes Puskesat, Brigif 1 Pasmar 1, Pusbahasa Kodiklat AU, and Wingdik 500 Atang Sanjaya.

Kemhan has also scheduled the opening ceremony for Basic Military Training for Komcad candidates on 22 April 2026, centred at Lanud Halim Perdanakusuma, Jakarta.

Hengki emphasised that the implementation of this activity refers to Law Number 23 of 2019 on the Management of National Resources for National Defence, as well as Minister of Defence Regulation Number 3 of 2021 on the formation, determination, and development of the Komponen Cadangan.
