19 firms eye KPU's IT project

JAKARTA: Six firms and four consortia submitted their bid for the information technology infrastructure tender with the General Elections Commission (KPU) on Saturday.

The six companies were identified as PT Adhisakti Solusi Komputindo, PT Pernadi Wira Perkasa, PT Texacom Hitek System, PT Asaba Computer Center, PT Anabatik Technologies, and PT Globalindo Technology.

The four consortia consisted of 13 firms: PT Berca Hardaya Perkasa, PT Indosat Mega Media, PT Citra Tirza Astari Jaya, PT Integrasi Teknologi, PT Intikom Berlian Mustika, PT Harrisma Agung Jaya, PT Multidata Rancana Prima, PT Nusantara Compnet, PT Swadarma Duta Data, PT Transmarco Data System, PT Multipolar, PT Binareka Tata Mandiri, and PT Rahajasa Media Internet.

A consortium of 11 companies led by PT Beringin Gigantara was prevented from taking part in the tender as its bid was submitted late.

The application deadline was at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, but most of the applications were submitted as late as 11.00 a.m.

KPU will pick up several winners of the tender on Tuesday. --JP
