19 Cilegon Students Exposed to Tear Gas During Crowd-Control Drill

Nineteen students at SMA-SMK Madinatul Hadid, also known as Al Hadid Cilegon, experienced breathing difficulties and sore eyes after being exposed to tear gas from a demonstration-security simulation conducted by Cilegon Police crowd-control officers (Dalmas) on Thursday (8 October).

Cilegon Police public relations chief AKP Imam Maryono said the tear gas was believed to have been carried by the wind into the school area. He confirmed that all affected students had undergone medical examinations.
