A total of 174 illegal buildings erected on the road right-of-way along Jalan Terusan Pasirkoja in Bandung were demolished by a joint task force from Wednesday (17/6/2026) to Friday (19/6/2026). The demolition was carried out to restore the road’s function.

Head of the Bandung City Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) Bambang Sukardi stated that approximately 174 illegal structures were targeted for enforcement. He said 250 personnel were deployed to provide security and carry out the demolition.

“The enforcement operation against illegal buildings on Terusan Pasirkoja was conducted over three days. The targets numbered approximately 174 illegal structures,” he said on Thursday (18/6/2026).

He noted that the personnel involved comprised officers from the West Java and Bandung City Satpol PP, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the Indonesian National Police (Polri), and the West Java Provincial Highways Department. Two heavy excavators were deployed to accelerate the demolition process.

“On the first day of the operation, officers successfully demolished around 70 illegal buildings located on the left side of Jalan Terusan Pasirkoja,” he said.
