17 Police Officers Questioned in Connection with Drug Case Involving Former Bima City Police Chief

The legal process in the drug trafficking case that involves former Head of Narcotics AKP Malaungi and former Bima City Police Chief AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro continues. Most recently, 17 police officers in Bima and Dompu were summoned and examined by the NTB Regional Police (Polda NTB). ‘Yes, that’s correct (summoned),’ said the Deputy Chief of Bima City Police, Kompol Herman, when contacted by detikBali on Wednesday (4/3/2026). He explained that the summons were for examinations by the Ditresnarkoba of Polda NTB. The examinations took place at the NTB Regional Police Headquarters in Mataram on Saturday (28/2/2026). ‘Examinations on Saturday yesterday,’ Herman noted. However, Herman did not disclose further results of the examinations. He did, however, suggest that the examinations relate to the drug case within the jurisdiction of Bima City Police. ‘Related to drugs,’ said the former Head of Operations at Bima Police. Herman noted that about 17 officers were examined. The majority are officers stationed at the Bima City Police, Bima Police Resort, and Dompu Police Resort. ‘Around 17 people from Kota, Kabupaten Bima and Dompu,’ he concluded. (hsa/hsa)
