A total of 17 land offices (kantah) across Indonesia can now complete the transfer of land certificate ownership in just 10 days. Two of these offices are located in Bali.

The shorter processing time for land certificates follows a policy by the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Nusron Wahid. The service began to be implemented at the 17 land offices on Monday (17/8/2026).

Not stopping at 17 offices, Nusron is targeting an additional 24 land offices to provide land rights transfer services, or land certificate name transfers, within 10 days. These 24 additional offices will implement the service starting 24 September 2026.

“Today there are 17 offices, and on 24 September there will be 24 more,” Nusron said during the Launching of Service and Organisation Transformation at the West Jakarta Administrative City Land Office, as reported by detikProperti.

Nusron has also asked the Head of the Bureau of Organisation, Governance, and Risk Management of the Ministry of ATR/BPN and the Director General of Rights Determination and Land Registration of the Ministry of ATR/BPN to ensure that 100 land offices can provide a similar service. He hopes this transformation can be completed by next year.

The following is a list of the 17 land offices that can now issue land certificates within 10 days:

  • West Jakarta Administrative City Land Office

  • North Jakarta Administrative City Land Office

  • South Jakarta Administrative City Land Office

  • Central Jakarta Administrative City Land Office

  • Surabaya City Land Office 1

  • Malang Regency Land Office

  • Semarang City Land Office

  • Semarang Regency Land Office

  • South Tangerang City Land Office

  • Batam City Land Office

  • Pontianak City Land Office

  • Samarinda City Land Office

  • Badung Regency Land Office

  • Buleleng Regency Land Office

  • Makassar City Land Office

  • Kupang City Land Office

  • Depok City Land Office.

Nusron urged the public to report to the Ministry of ATR/BPN immediately if any of the 17 land offices still takes more than 10 days to process a land certificate name transfer.

“If any of these 17 offices still takes more than 10 days, please inform us. Even without being informed, I can check the dashboard myself. But it is better to be informed so that we know the cause,” Nusron said.
