17 Investment Projects Offered at CJIBF 2026
Semarang - At least 17 flagship investment projects, or IPRO (Investment Project Ready to Offer), were promoted to prospective investors at the Central Java Investment Business Forum (CJIBF) 2026.
The CJIBF 2026 was opened by Bank Indonesia Deputy Governor Aida S. Budiman, alongside Central Java Governor Ahmad Luthfi and Deputy Minister of Investment and Downstreaming Todotua Pasaribu, in Semarang, Central Java, on Monday.
The annual agenda was organised by the Bank Indonesia Representative Office for Central Java Province in collaboration with the Central Java Provincial Government as part of efforts to strengthen regional investment and trade.
Bank Indonesia Deputy Governor Aida S. Budiman emphasised the importance of synergy between investment and the strengthening of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in maintaining sustainable, inclusive, and competitive economic growth amid global economic dynamics.
Head of the Bank Indonesia Representative Office for Central Java, M Noor Nugroho, mentioned that the projects offered to prospective investors cover sectors such as renewable energy, agriculture and food downstreaming, tourism, and mining.
In the renewable energy sector, examples include the Candi Umbul Telomoyo Geothermal Power Plant owned by Geo Dipa Energy, the Logawa Minihydro Power Plant in Banyumas, and Agricultural Waste Utilization for Biomass Energy in Grobogan.
In the agriculture and food downstreaming sector, projects include the Integrated Coconut Industry, Integrated Shrimp Industry, and Integrated Fisheries Special Zone in Cilacap, as well as the Salt Industry in Jepara.
In the tourism sector, projects include the development of Taman Kyai Langgeng Ecopark in Magelang City, the development of Pulau Panjang in Jepara, and the development of Deyangan Resort in the Borobudur area, Magelang Regency.
Additionally, in the mining sector, there is the Mineral Extraction project from Geo Dipa Energy in Banjarnegara Regency.
Prospective investors were also introduced to four main industrial zones in Central Java, namely Kendal Special Economic Zone, Industropolis Batang Special Economic Zone, Wijayakusuma Industrial Park, and Jatengland Industrial Park Sayung.
Meanwhile, Central Java Governor Ahmad Luthfi stated that investments in Central Java continue to increase, as evidenced by the first quarter of 2026 with realised investments reaching Rp23.02 trillion and absorbing around 92,000 workers across 35 regencies/cities.
Investments in Central Java are also expected to drive improvements in the performance of Central Java MSMEs to elevate them to national and international levels.
The CJIBF 2026 consists of several activities, including a talkshow themed “Empowering Green and Sustainable Growth: Unlocking Investment Opportunities in Central Java’s Leading Sectors”, project showcasing, one-on-one meetings, and visits to flagship investment project sites.
In addition to the CJIBF, as part of efforts to strengthen trade and MSME development, Bank Indonesia Central Java also held “UMKM Grande 2026” from 7-11 May 2026, featuring 90 MSME actors from Central Java.
