Injourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) and the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Provincial Government are providing 160 free shuttle buses for holders of Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia or MotoGP Mandalika 2026 tickets, operating from 9–11 October 2026. The buses will transport spectators from several gathering points directly to the circuit.

“Today, we are demonstrating to our friends an important aspect of transportation supported by the NTB Provincial Government’s Department of Transportation and Damri. There are two types of shuttle buses: outer and inner. There are also services for people with disabilities,” said the Chairman of the Pertanya Grand Prix of Indonesia 2026, Troy Reza Warokka, during a shuttle bus service simulation at the VIP Deluxe parking area of the Mandalika Circuit on Monday (5/10/2026).

Troy explained that the provision of these shuttle buses is intended to ease the journey for spectators heading to the Mandalika Circuit. He noted that for this year, the buses have been divided into two groups: outer shuttles and inner shuttles.

He further explained that the outer shuttles will transport passengers from Bangsal Port for those coming from Gili Tramena, Senggigi, and Lembar; from the former Seleparang Airport for spectators from Mataram; and from Lombok International Airport for those arriving via air travel.

“What we need to convey is that we are covering and supporting connectivity issues. This is a manifestation of the committee’s readiness to ensure spectator comfort,” he asserted.

Based on ticket sales interest, Troy anticipates a significant surge in spectators this year. This is attributed to the presence of two local heroes, Mario Aji in Moto2 and Veda Ega Pratama in Moto3.

“It feels as though a surge in spectators will occur this year compared to two years ago. This is because there are now two Indonesian riders, and both have travelled from Japan to Indonesia,” he added.

Additionally, the surge is expected due to the lineup of artists performing daily this year, which includes familiar names such as Agnez Mo, Judika, Ungu, D’Masiv, Happy Asmara, Niki Becker, Crossover Band, Tipe-X, and DJ RIM.

“For evening spectators, Damri will provide transport until the final departure. This means that if there are any spectators remaining at the circuit, there is no reason they won’t be picked up, provided it is within the service hours,” he said.

Troy noted that providing late-night return transport is crucial to optimise, especially for the inner shuttles, as issues regarding stranded passengers have occurred almost every year.

“In our view, we will always learn from previous years to become better and better. I believe what is being provided by the Provincial Government and Damri is a good step and a collaborative effort,” he concluded.
