Ramadhan Jazz Festival 2026 will be held by the Islamic Youth of Masjid Cut Meutia (RICMA) in collaboration with WartaJazz, marking the 15th edition of the festival to celebrate the holy month of Ramadhan 1447 Hijriah. This year’s festival, under the theme “Harmony for the Nation”, highlights a combination of jazz music and humanitarian action as a gesture of solidarity for communities affected by disasters in Sumatra.

This unique event remains the world’s only jazz festival held in a mosque courtyard during Ramadhan. By emphasising values of peace and harmony, the festival aims to reach not only Jakarta residents but all segments of Indonesian society and the world. Drawing from Qur’an Surah Ibrahim verse 4, the festival seeks to convey messages of goodness and compassion through music and language that touches the heart.

Agus Setiawan Basuni, Managing Director of WartaJazz, Artistic Director and founder of RJF, emphasises that Ramadhan Jazz Festival 2026 is not merely a music concert but also a social movement. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated 100% to humanitarian missions. This year, donations will focus on West Sumatra through forest reforestation programmes and mosque renovations, reflecting the spirit of charity and social responsibility.

The jazz music festival will feature a line-up of prominent musicians, including Candra Darusman, Nikita Dompas & Detik Waktu Quartet featuring Andien & Adira Kania, Galaxy Big Band Jazz Orchestra, Krakatau X Andre Dinuth X Barry Likumahuwa, Societeit de Harmonie x Natasya Elvira, Sore, and Sisitipsi. The presence of these renowned musicians is expected to attract approximately 5,000 visitors, making Ramadhan Jazz Festival 2026 one of the largest jazz events in Jakarta during the holy month.

M. Pradana Indraputra, Chairman of Ramadhan at Masjid Cut Meutia, alongside Ali Akbar Hasyemi as Project Officer for Ramadhan Jazz Festival 2026, announced that the festival will take place on 6–7 March 2026 at the Masjid Cut Meutia courtyard in Jakarta. Attendees can contribute donations through the Goers application or directly at the venue on the day of the event.

Beyond enjoying quality jazz music, festival visitors will have the opportunity to meet prominent figures, including musicians, political leaders, community figures, and ambassadors of friendly nations. With its concept combining art, culture, and humanity, Ramadhan Jazz Festival 2026 remains committed to serving as a platform for Indonesia’s younger generation to spread harmony and goodness during the month of Ramadhan.
