15,500 vehicles passed through Puncak Road in Bogor, West Java, this morning. The figure represents the cumulative count of vehicles coming from both Jakarta and Puncak directions.

“By 8:00 AM WIB, from midnight, approximately 9,500 vehicles had passed. Then, 6,000 vehicles had exited or entered towards Jakarta,” said Senior Traffic Police Officer Iptu Ardian Novianto of Bogor Police Resort on Saturday (30 May 2026).

The data recorded vehicles passing through Jagorawi Toll Road via Ciawi Toll Gate (GT). The number is expected to increase hourly.

Ardian reported several congested points in the Puncak area this morning. The first bottleneck occurred at Pasir Muncang Intersection.

“This intersection experiences high traffic volume from the toll road, leading to congestion due to the crossing,” he explained.

The second congestion point was at Megamendung Intersection. The area is a community activity hub with a narrow road.

“The road width is quite narrow there, with significant pedestrian activity, crossing vehicles, causing lengthy queues,” he added.

The final congestion point was at Cisarua Market. Ardian noted the area serves as a local economic hub, leading to long queues. “Cisarua Market is a centre of local economic activity, hence the lengthy queues. Traffic management measures are now in place, and we hope the queues will be resolved soon,” he concluded.
