140 IKM-UMKM Actors Participate in "Jogja Food and Beverage Expo 2026"
Yogyakarta (ANTARA) - A total of 140 business actors from 110 small and medium industries (IKM) and 30 micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM) producing food, beverages, and packaging in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) are participating in the “Jogja Food and Beverage Expo 2026” at Jogja Expo Center (JEC) Yogyakarta from Wednesday to Saturday (11/4).
The exhibition, organised by Krista Exhibitions, is presented as an effort to encourage the growth of the food and beverage industry in DIY.
“This event also features other industry exhibitions, namely Jogja Pack & Process Expo, Jogja All Tea Expo, and Jogja Printing Expo 2026, to broaden business opportunities and innovation for business actors, including UMKM,” said CEO of Krista Exhibitions Group, Daud D Salim, in Yogyakarta on Wednesday.
According to him, the exhibition serves as a strategic step to strengthen the food and beverage sector in DIY.
He stated that over the four days of the event, it is targeted that 15,000 visitors will attend and utilise the platform to develop their businesses.
One of the exhibition participants, Ira Susanti, marketing for Koffiku products, said her company is presenting an innovation in sugar-free coffee creamer aimed at consumers with special needs.
“We are innovating by creating sugar-free coffee creamer that is safe for diabetics and is currently limited in Indonesia. We also use robusta coffee beans from Temanggung,” she said.
“We hope our product can enter various places in Yogyakarta because local products often face challenges in distribution,” she added.
One of the visitors, Bunga (25), admitted it was her first time attending the exhibition after being invited by her family.
“I am coming here for the first time and initially wanted to look for plastic for my business because prices are rising. However, there are more food products here, so I tried some, including cashew milk from Plantiq, which I think tastes good,” she said.
