Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Registration and Identification Division of the Traffic Directorate of Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters has deployed 14 mobile Samsat (single-roof administrative system) locations across the Greater Jakarta region encompassing Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi on Monday.

At these mobile Samsat units, the public can access several services including annual vehicle registration certificate endorsement, payment of motor vehicle tax (PKB), and compulsory accident insurance contributions (SWDKLLJ).

Mobile Samsat units are typically distributed across various areas to make services more accessible to residents and eliminate the need to travel to the central office.

Citizens are advised to bring the necessary requirements for vehicle tax payments, including the original identity card of the vehicle owner, vehicle ownership certificate (BPKB), and vehicle registration certificate (STNK), each accompanied by a photocopy. Applicants must also have no outstanding motor vehicle tax arrears exceeding one year.

These mobile Samsat outlets exclusively handle annual motor vehicle tax payments (PKB). For five-yearly vehicle tax payments and vehicle number plate replacement, applicants must visit the nearest Samsat office directly.
