14,000 Households in West Lombok Yet to Be Included in National Social and Economic Data

As many as 14,000 family heads (KK) in West Lombok have yet to be included in the National Single Social and Economic Data (DTSEN) to date. This situation leaves thousands of residents unrecorded in the national welfare system.

Head of the Social Services, Women’s Protection, and Child Protection Agency (Dinsos PPA) of West Lombok, Arif Suryawirawan, stated that the problem stems from changes in community data that have not been updated.

“There are around 14,000 KK. Newlyweds often have not yet had their data entered,” he explained on Friday (24/4/2026).

According to Arif, the absence of this data impacts the mapping of community economic welfare levels, from decile 1 to 10, which cannot be determined accurately.

As a result, thousands of KK cannot access various government assistance programmes. Arif mentioned that they are unable to receive social assistance (bansos), the Family Hope Programme (PKH), or BPJS Recipient of Contribution Assistance (PBI) for the National Health Insurance (JKN).

“Not yet in the data or still at decile 0,” he said.

Arif emphasised that his office will promptly report this issue to the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos). This is because the West Lombok Regency Government (Pemkab) cannot resolve the problem independently, as the data used is a combination from various sources.

“We will report this to the centre immediately and carry out verification soon. It is a combination of several data sources, including from Pertamina, PLN, integrated with Dukcapil, and others,” he clarified.
