13th Salary Payments to Commence 2 June 2026: Schedule, Recipients and Key Details

The government has confirmed that the 13th salary will be disbursed starting in June 2026, with payments for retirees managed by PT Taspen (Persero) scheduled from 2 June 2026. The announcement has drawn attention from civil servants (ASN), PPPK staff, military and police personnel, as well as retirees awaiting the additional income to cover mid-year expenses, particularly school fees ahead of the new academic year. The disbursement of the 13th salary is stipulated under Government Regulation (PP) No. 9 of 2026 concerning the provision of Eid allowances (THR) and the 13th salary for state officials, retirees, pension recipients, and benefit recipients. In a statement on its official Instagram account, Taspen confirmed the disbursement process to ensure retirees receive their entitlements on time. Taspen will begin disbursing the 2026 13th salary no earlier than 2 June 2026, as part of its commitment to ensuring timely pension benefits. Taspen also stated that recipients do not need to undergo re-authentication or submit additional applications to receive the payment. This is outlined in PP No. 9 of 2026, which states: ‘The 13th salary referred to in Article 2 shall be paid no earlier than June 2026.’ The policy is expected to assist civil servants and retirees in meeting mid-year expenses, including school fees, household needs, and additional savings. With this coverage, the 13th salary benefit extends not only to active employees but also to retirees and pension recipients still entitled to government income.
