Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The government has assured that the disbursement of the 13th month salary for civil servants (ASN) will take place in June 2026. This certainty is enshrined in Government Regulation No. 9 of 2026, which regulates the schedule as well as the amount received.

The regulation stipulates that the 13th month salary is granted to Civil Servants (PNS), candidate Civil Servants (CPNS), Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK), TNI soldiers, Polri members, as well as state officials.

The provision of the 13th month salary is described as a form of appreciation for dedication to the state, while still considering the state’s financial condition. The components received include base salary, attached allowances, as well as performance allowances in accordance with the provisions.

“The thirteenth salary is not subject to deductions for contributions and/or other deductions based on the provisions of laws and regulations,” states Article 16 Paragraph 2 of Government Regulation No. 9 of 2026, quoted Saturday (18/4/2026).

For PPPK, there are special rules in its calculation. If the tenure is less than one year, the 13th month salary is given proportionally. Even PPPK whose tenure has not reached one month before 1 June 2026 are not entitled to receive the salary.

Meanwhile, CPNS funded by the APBN will receive 80% of the base salary, plus allowances such as general allowances, performance allowances, as well as other facilities according to their positions. For regional CPNS (APBD), the components received are similar, but can be added with other income according to each region’s fiscal capacity.

As for leaders, members, and non-ASN employees in non-structural institutions, the amount of the 13th month salary has been set. For non-structural institution leaders, for example, the chairman or head receives around Rp31.4 million, deputy chairman Rp29.6 million, and secretary and members each Rp28.1 million.

Meanwhile, officials at echelon I level receive around Rp24.8 million, echelon II Rp19.5 million, echelon III Rp13.8 million, and echelon IV Rp10.6 million.

For non-ASN employees based on education levels, the amounts vary. Graduates from elementary to junior high school can receive from Rp4.2 million to Rp5 million depending on tenure. High school to D-I graduates range from Rp4.9 million to Rp5.8 million.

Meanwhile, D-II to D-III graduates receive around Rp5.4 million to Rp6.5 million. D-IV or S1 graduates can obtain Rp6.5 million to Rp7.8 million, and for S2 to S3, it ranges from Rp7.7 million to Rp9 million, depending on tenure.
