13th Month Salary Disbursed! Government Has Distributed Rp24 Trillion to 5.5 Million Civil Servants and Pensioners

The government has distributed 13th-month salaries totalling Rp24 trillion to approximately 5.5 million civil servants (ASN) and pensioners, covering both central and regional levels. As of 2 June 2026, at 15:00 WIB, the realisation of these disbursements has been recorded.

Deni Surjantoro, Head of the Bureau of Communication and Information Services at the Ministry of Finance, explained that 13th-month salary payments for central government civil servants have reached Rp13.9 trillion, distributed to 2,353,392 employees and personnel. “Overall, the number of work units that have paid the 13th-month salary is 8,838 (99.3 per cent),” Deni stated in a written briefing on Wednesday, 3 June 2026.

From this total, civil servants (PNS) constitute the largest recipient group, with payments reaching Rp7.56 trillion distributed to 902,265 employees. Meanwhile, the 13th-month salary for Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) has realised Rp1.20 trillion for 387,311 employees. Disbursements to National Police (Polri) members reached Rp1.9 trillion for 477,433 personnel and employees, while TNI soldiers received Rp3.08 trillion for 574,824 personnel and employees. The Ministry of Finance has also distributed 13th-month salaries to non-civil servant government employees (PPNPN) amounting to Rp132.8 billion for 11,559 employees.

In contrast, 13th-month salary payments for regional government civil servants have only reached Rp414.6 billion, received by 72,854 employees. Distribution in the regions is still limited; currently, only five out of 546 regional governments have realised payments, representing approximately 0.92 per cent.

Furthermore, 13th-month salary payments to pensioners have reached Rp9.73 trillion, received by 3,097,677 pensioners, which is equivalent to 79.27 per cent of the total pension recipients. Of this amount, disbursements through PT Taspen reached Rp8.31 trillion for 2,600,927 pensioners, or approximately 76.79 per cent. Meanwhile, through PT Asabri, the payment value was recorded at Rp1.42 trillion for 496,750 pensioners, representing 97.61 per cent of the total recipients under the company’s responsibility.
