139th Canton Fair Set to Open as Global Partners Prepare Delegations Including Buyers

Guangzhou, China — The 139th Canton Fair will open on 15 April 2026. Global partners have demonstrated strong enthusiasm and are mobilising member companies to attend the event. As of now, around 30 Canton Fair cooperation partners have confirmed plans to bring buyer delegations, including the United States of America-China Chamber of Commerce, the China-Britain Business Council, the Malaysia–China Chamber of Commerce, the Peru China Chamber of Commerce, and the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Australia. The partners expect participating exhibitors to bring company profiles, product catalogues, and product samples to facilitate communication and cooperation with the buyer delegations.

The Canton Fair maintains cooperative relationships with 227 business associations, multinational corporations, and trade service organisations in 110 countries and regions. Partners regularly organise promotional activities and a range of outreach programmes in their markets, while connecting member companies with the Canton Fair as a platform for international and high-quality procurement. Members of the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Australia have stated plans to procure smartphones, computers, and household electrical equipment at the 139th Canton Fair to meet the growing consumer technology demand in Australia.

For buyers, the delegations will accelerate supplier searches and shorten evaluation times. They will be able to compare price, production capacity, and regulatory compliance standards in a shorter period. This demonstrates stronger buying intent and greater opportunities for business collaboration. The efficiency also reduces procurement risks, strengthens buyers’ negotiating positions, and facilitates buyers in finding reliable suppliers or adjusting strategies to changing market demand.
