13 Suspects in Little Aresha Daycare Abuse Case Undergo Reconstruction

Thirteen suspects in the alleged abuse case at the Little Aresha daycare in Yogyakarta were brought to the daycare location in Umbulharjo, Yogyakarta City, for a crime scene reconstruction. The parents of the victims were also present to witness the proceedings.

According to observations, the suspects arrived in a Yogyakarta City Police minibus at approximately 10:15 WIB. All 13 suspects were dressed in orange detainee uniforms and were handcuffed to one another.

The reconstruction process commenced at 10:35 WIB, beginning with one of the suspects picking up a child in front of the daycare, followed by the re-enactment of several other key scenes.

It was previously reported that the police, alongside the Yogyakarta District Attorney’s Office and the Yogyakarta High Prosecutor’s Office, would hold the reconstruction for the alleged violence at the Little Aresha daycare. The reconstruction was conducted behind closed doors.

‘It is reported that the PPA investigators of the Yogyakarta City Police, together with the District and High Prosecutors, will conduct a reconstruction of the criminal act of violence against children that occurred at the Little Areshea daycare on Tuesday, 9 June 2026, at approximately 10:00 WIB,’ stated the Acting Head of Public Relations for Yogyakarta City Police, Iptu Dani Hasan.

‘The media is permitted to cover the event; however, as the reconstruction takes place inside the house, coverage must adapt to the situation and circumstances. The suspects are also present,’ he added.

To date, 13 individuals have been named as suspects and are currently in detention. The Chief of Yogyakarta City Police, Kombes Eva Guna Pandia, revealed that all 13 suspects are female. The suspects have been identified as DK (51), AP (42), FN (30), NF (26), Lis (34), EN (26), SRm (54), DR (32), HP (47), ZA (30), SRj (50), DO (31), and DM (28).
