Yogyakarta Police have named 13 people as suspects in the alleged child abuse and neglect case at Little Aresha Daycare. This development follows examinations of 30 individuals since the raid on Friday, 24 April 2026. Yogyakarta Police Chief, Senior Commissioner Eva Guna Pandia, stated that the suspects were designated after a case review by investigators. The process involved the Criminal Investigation Unit to ensure sufficient evidence. “So up to Saturday night, the Head of Criminal Investigation along with the unit heads and other personnel conducted the case review. After that, 13 people were named as suspects,” said Eva Pandia in her statement on Sunday (26/4/2026). Pandia explained that the suspects come from various positions within the daycare environment. They consist of one foundation head, one school principal, and eleven caregivers.
