12th China International Big Data Industry Expo to be Held in August 2026
Guiyang (ANTARA) - The 12th China International Big Data Industry Expo will be held in Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou Province in southwest China, in August this year, as announced by local authorities on Thursday (30/4). As the world’s first big data-themed exhibition, the event serves as an indicator of global digital economy development and a primary platform for exchanging industry achievements since it was first held in 2015. China’s National Data Administration will host this year’s expo, with the Guizhou Provincial People’s Government organising it. This edition will feature six exhibition sections, including a professional exhibition area spanning 60,000 square metres. According to Guiyang’s Deputy Mayor Fu Tao, the city is mobilising all efforts to establish itself as a national computing power supply base and a centre for digital economy innovation in western China. To date, Guiyang has gathered 27 large and super-large computing centres, with a total computing power exceeding 165 Eflops. Intelligent computing accounts for more than 98% of the total, with a localisation rate of 90%, making it one of the regions in China with the most abundant and capable local computing resources.
