Jakarta - State-owned enterprise (SOE) hotels have been officially consolidated under InJourney. The integration of all SOE hotels is part of the SOE transformation orchestrated by Danantara. With a projected 120 hotels, InJourney will become the second-largest hotel operator in Indonesia. Previously, on Friday (26/6/2026), 45 hotels spread across several SOEs signed a Conditional Sale and Purchase Agreement (CSPA) as part of the unification of hotel assets under the InJourney umbrella. Head of BP BUMN and COO of Danantara Dony Oskaria said the unification of all SOE hotels under InJourney is a major leap in reorganising and strengthening the value of our hospitality assets to make them more competitive. “With a projected 120 hotels, InJourney will become the second-largest hotel operator in Indonesia,” Dony stated on Friday (26/6/2026). The signing of the CSPA by these 45 hotels is part of the SOE transformation in the hospitality sector. This positive momentum will be maintained, and the addition of signings from several other hotels is projected for early next week. This is a concrete step towards optimising asset value and building a more robust management structure. “This CSPA scheme ensures that the asset consolidation process proceeds prudently and prioritises good governance. With all SOE hotels consolidated, it becomes a solid foundation for value creation. This transformation will ultimately create a more efficient, competitive, and integrated tourism industry portfolio,” Dony revealed.
