12 KRL Services Cancelled Until End of September, Here Is the Reason
KAI Commuter is reducing the number of Jabodetabek Commuter Line journeys from 7 to 30 September 2026 amid intensive maintenance of KRL train sets. As a result, the number of daily services operated has fallen from 1,065 to 1,048.
VP Corporate Secretary of KAI Commuter, Karina Amanda, said the adjustment was made after considering the number of train sets available for operation during the maintenance period.
“We are currently carrying out intensive maintenance on our KRL train sets for the safety and security of journeys,” Karina said on Monday (7/9).
On Monday, 7 September 2026, 17 Commuter Line services were recorded as having been adjusted, covering morning, afternoon and evening journeys. Of these, 12 previously announced services were cancelled, the majority of which served the Bogor, Depok, Cilebut, Manggarai and Jakarta Kota routes.
The adjustment was particularly noticeable during the morning. Five cancelled services bound for Jakarta Kota and Manggarai had scheduled departures between 04.03 WIB and 08.13 WIB.
These included KA 1157 Bogor-Jakarta Kota at 04.03 WIB, KA 1007 Bogor-Manggarai at 05.36 WIB, KA 1195F Cilebut-Jakarta Kota at 06.22 WIB, KA 1013A Bogor-Manggarai at 07.16 WIB, and KA 1231 Bogor-Jakarta Kota at 08.13 WIB.
Meanwhile, the seven other cancelled services were KA 1118 Depok-Bogor at 04.56 WIB, KA 1124F Depok-Bogor at 05.33 WIB, KA 1154 Jakarta Kota-Bogor at 05.36 WIB, KA 1008 Manggarai-Bogor at 06.56 WIB, KA 1192F Jakarta Kota-Depok at 07.48 WIB, KA 1014 Manggarai-Bogor at 08.37 WIB, and KA 1228 Jakarta Kota-Depok at 09.48 WIB.
KAI Commuter stressed that the reduction in services is temporary. The intensive maintenance is being carried out to maintain the reliability of the train sets as well as the safety of Commuter Line passengers.
With services reduced for nearly a month, passengers, particularly on the Bogor-Jakarta route, need to re-check the departure schedules they normally use.
KAI Commuter has asked passengers to monitor updates through announcements at stations and on board trains, the C-Access application, and the company’s official social media channels.
“We urge passengers to adjust their travel schedules accordingly,” said Karina.
