12 hotels receive health certificates

JAKARTA (JP): The city administration's health office will renew the health certificates of 12 hotels, the office said in a statement on Friday.

The 12 hotels are Hotel Indonesia, Horison Jakarta, Wisata International, Atlet Century Park, Pasarbaru, Sriwijaya, Cikini Sofyan, Betawi Sofyan, Petamburan, Kartika Chandra, Mandarin Oriental and Pondok Putri Duyung.

The office made the announcement after reevaluation the conditions of the hotels after their previous health certificates expired.

The certificates will be given to executive of the 12 hotels by officials from the health office on May 9 at Hotel Horison Jakarta. The ceremony will coincide with a seminar on health certification for hotels.

Jakarta currently has 105 hotels, of which 73 have health certificates.
