President Prabowo Subiability attended the ‘Building Indonesia’s Future Generations Through Nutrition’ event held at the Sentul International Convention Centre (SICC), Bogor Regency, West Java, on Wednesday (3/6/2026). The gathering was attended by 12,173 participants, including Heads of Nutrition Fulfilment Service Offices (KPPG), Regional Coordinators of Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG) from across Indonesia, Regional Coordinators, Heads of SPPG, and various implementing partners of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) Programme.

In his address, President Prabowo expressed his appreciation to all elements involved in the MBG Programme for their service in various regions. The Head of State emphasised that the dedication of these implementers serves as a vital foundation for executing this strategic programme, which aims to enhance the quality of Indonesia’s human resources.

“Thank you again for your service so far, in remote areas and difficult locations. Thank you for your dedication. Thank you for your loyalty,” Prabowo stated in an official statement.

In her report, the Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Nanik Sudaryati Deyang, explained that the attendees represented the implementing components of the MBG Programme from various levels, from central to regional authorities. “This includes 20 Heads of Nutrition Fulfilment Service Offices (KPPG). These 20 KPPG offices span from Sabang to Merauke and are led by civil servants of grade 3. Also present are the Regional Coordinators (Koreg) of the SPPG from all over Indonesia,” said Nanik.

Nanik added that while participants were physically present from three provinces—DKI Jakarta, West Java, and Banten—the event also included thousands of partners supporting the MBG Programme’s implementation. “We have participants from three provinces: DKI, Banten, and West Java, along with all KSPPG. Additionally, there are 5,873 partners present here,” she noted.

The presence of these implementers and partners is part of the effort to strengthen the execution of the MBG Programme to support the creation of a healthy, strong, and competitive Indonesian generation. Accompanying the President at the event were the Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, and the Head of the National Nutrition Agency Nanik Sudaryati, alongside several ministers from the Red and White Cabinet and heads of state institutions.
