11 UBISA Tegal Students to Undertake Internship in Taiwan

Eleven students from Bima Sakapenta University (UBISA) Tegal, Central Java, have officially been sent to participate in an international internship programme in Taiwan for one year. Prior to their departure, the students, accompanied by university and educational foundation leaders, paid a courtesy visit to the Mayor of Tegal, Dedy Yon Supriyono, at the mayoral residence on Saturday (6/6).

The Rector of UBISA, Agus Suprihadi, explained that this programme is a continuation of an international partnership that previously sent one student to Taiwan. The participants, who are currently in their second semester, will be placed in partner companies corresponding to their respective fields of study.

The Chairperson of the Bima Sakapenta Educational Foundation, Khafdilah, noted that the students are scheduled to depart on Sunday (7/6). “In addition to gaining international work experience, they will also receive incentives from their host companies,” said Khafdilah.

Tegal Mayor Dedy Yon advised the students to uphold the reputation of Indonesia and the City of Tegal. “This must be achieved by carrying out the internship programme with full responsibility and discipline,” Dedy Yon urged.
