11 Land Offices in West Java to Continue Serving the Public During Eid Holiday
Land services at 11 Land Offices under the West Java Regional Office of the National Land Agency (Kanwil BPN) will remain open to the public during the 2026 Eid holiday period. Residents returning to West Java for the holidays can use this time to process land certificates directly.
“Eid is an important time for the public. However, land administration needs remain essential. Therefore, we ensure that land services are available through limited operations during the holiday period. This way, the public can still obtain information or handle the services they need,” said the Head of the West Java Kanwil BPN, Yuniar Hikmat Ginanjar, in a written statement on Wednesday (18/03/2026).
The 11 regencies/cities in West Java will keep their land services open as they are primary destinations for mudik during the Eid holiday. These areas include Cirebon City, Cirebon Regency, Indramayu Regency, Majalengka Regency, Kuningan Regency, Garut Regency, Tasikmalaya Regency, Tasikmalaya City, Ciamis Regency, Pangandaran Regency, and Banjar City.
Yuniar explained that services at these 11 Land Offices will be open on 18, 19, 20, 23, and 24 March 2026, from 09:00 to 12:00 WIB. The available services include land information and consultations, acceptance of service files, delivery of land service products, and digital updates for old certificates. All these services can only be applied for directly by the landowner without using a proxy.
According to him, the presence of limited services during the holiday is part of the Ministry of ATR/BPN’s commitment to providing public services that are easily accessible to the public.
“We want to ensure that the public can still access land services even during the national holiday period. Hopefully, those mudik can take advantage of this opportunity to ensure their land documents are in order and up to date,” he clarified.
He urged the public to prepare the necessary documents before visiting the Land Office. According to him, complete documents will help the service process run more quickly, smoothly, and orderly.
This limited service policy refers to Circular Letter from the Head of Kanwil BPN West Java No. UP.04.06/713-32/III/2026 dated 13 March 2026, which regulates adjustments to civil servant duties during the national holiday and collective leave for Nyepi Day (Saka New Year 1948) and Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah.
