11 killed in road crash

JAKARTA (JP): At least 11 people were killed when a speeding
bus crashed head-on into a truck along the notorious Prapat to
Balige highway in North Sumatra on Friday, Antara reported
yesterday.

Dozens of passengers were taken to a hospital in Pematang
Siantar, according to the report.

Police said they are still investigating the cause of the
crash between the bus from Tarutung and the truck that had a
Jakarta plate number. (29)
