11 firms suspended from trade

JAKARTA (Dow Jones): The Jakarta Stock Exchange on Monday
suspended the shares of 11 companies from trade due to their
failure to submit their 1999 financial statements, a JSX official
said.

"They failed to meet the July 10 deadline," the official at
JSX corporate communication said.

He said JSX management may lift the suspensions as soon as the
companies submit their 1999 financial reports to JSX management.

The 11 companies are: PT Indosteel, PT Jiwon Jaya, PT Inti
Indorayon, PT Ugar Jaya, PT Texmaco Jaya, PT Bhuwanatala Indah
Permai, PT Super Mitory Utama, PT Daya Guna Samudera, PT Texmaco
Perkasa Engineering, PT Polysindo Eka Perkasa), and PT Bintuni
Minaraya.

JSX management didn't offer further details.
