105 High-Ranking TNI Officers Promoted
At least 105 high-ranking officers (pati) from the three branches of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) have been promoted.
The promotion of the hundreds of senior officers was formalised through a ceremony led by Inspector General Laksdya Hersan, representing TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto, on Thursday (9 July).
Quoting a release from the TNI Information Centre, the Corps Report Ceremony for the Promotion of 105 TNI High-Ranking Officers was held at the Gatot Subroto Hall, TNI Headquarters, Cilangkap, East Jakarta.
“A total of 105 TNI High-Ranking Officers received promotions, consisting of 44 officers from the Indonesian Army, 31 from the Indonesian Navy, and 30 from the Indonesian Air Force,” according to the TNI Information Centre press release.
“This promotion is a form of state recognition for the senior officers’ dedication, performance in carrying out their duties, and their service to the TNI, the nation and the state,” it added.
TNI Headquarters emphasised that the promotion of these senior officers represents the state’s trust and a mandate that must be carried out with a full sense of responsibility.
