105 Companies in West Bandung Complaint After Allegedly Failing to Comply with Eid al-Fitr 2026 THR Regulations
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, WEST BANDUNG – As many as 105 companies in West Bandung Regency (KBB), West Java, are suspected of not fulfilling their obligations regarding the payment of Holiday Allowance (THR) to their workers. The reports were received by the Manpower Office (Disnaker) of KBB.
“As of H-4, we have recorded 105 companies reported for not yet paying THR to their employees. This is an accumulation of reports received in the days leading up to Eid,” said the Head of Disnaker KBB, Yoppie Indrawan Iskandar, when confirmed on Saturday (21/3/2026).
In these reports, he said, his office only acts as the recipient of complaints from workers or the public. The enforcement process is entirely under the authority of labour inspectors at the West Java provincial level.
“We do not have the authority to impose sanctions. Every report received is immediately forwarded to the labour inspectors at the West Java Provincial Manpower Office,” he stated.
According to him, supervision up to the imposition of sanctions on companies violating THR regulations falls under the responsibility of the West Java Provincial Government. Nevertheless, Yoppie reminded that the obligation to pay THR is strictly regulated and must be complied with by all companies. Delays in payment are also subject to sanctions.
“Companies must pay THR on time. If delayed, a fine of 5 percent of the total THR will be imposed for each month of delay,” said Yoppie.
He assured that every complaint received will be promptly followed up through coordination with the provincial authorities to ensure workers’ rights are fulfilled. Yoppie also urged workers who have not received their THR to immediately report to the local Manpower Office.
“Every report received is immediately sent to the West Java Manpower Office inspectors so it can be processed quickly,” he said.
