104 participants in Aceh's equivalence education programme take academic ability test

Banda Aceh (ANTARA) - A total of 104 students in the junior secondary equivalence education programme or Paket B at the Rumah Baca Aneuk Nanggroe Community Learning Centre (PKBM Ruman) Aceh participated in the academic ability test (TKA).

The head of PKBM Ruman Aceh, Nonong Noviasyah, stated in Banda Aceh on Monday that the academic ability test is a national agenda implemented by the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education.

“There are 104 Paket B students taking the academic ability test. The participants are from the equivalent of year nine at junior secondary school (SMP),” said Nonong Noviasyah.

He explained that the academic ability test took place from 11 to 15 April 2026. There are two subjects tested, namely Mathematics and Indonesian Language.

“The exam duration is 125 minutes per subject. The number of participants per session depends on computer availability. For PKBM Ruman Aceh, there are 12 participants per session,” he said.

Nonong Noviasyah stated that the academic ability test serves as an indicator to evaluate the extent of the students’ abilities in following the Paket B equivalence education programme. Participants who take the test will receive a certificate.
