1,030 Trisakti students graduate

JAKARTA (JP): Trisakti University graduated 1,030 students in
a ceremony led by Rector R. Moendanton Moertedjo at the Jakarta
Convention Center in Central Jakarta on Saturday.

Moertedjo said in his speech at the ceremony that this year's
graduation is special because it coincides with the commemoration
of the 30th anniversary of the university, which falls on Nov.
29, and of the 50th anniversary of the independence of the
Republic of Indonesia, which falls on Aug. 17.

Out of the 1,030 students, 22 were post-graduates on
management and 1,008 were new graduates from eight of the
university's schools, including 121 students from the law school,
362 from economy, 51 from medicine, 35 from dentistry, 147 from
civil engineering, 218 from industrial technology, 46 from
mineral technology and 28 from landscape architecture and
environmental science. (hhr)
