100 Million Citizens Have Joined CKG, Qodari: The Journey Is Still Long...
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Head of the Indonesian Government Communication Agency (Bakom) M Qodari revealed that the Free Health Check (CKG) programme has served 100 million Indonesian residents since its initial launch in 2025.
Qodari stated that the CKG programme demonstrates massive performance, involving more than 10,000 community health centres.
“Throughout 2025, CKG has served more than 70 million participants. Entering 2026 until early May 2026, that number has increased by more than 30 million people. In total, 100 million Indonesian residents have received CKG,” Qodari said during a press conference at the Bakom office in Jakarta on Wednesday (6/5/2026).
“Our journey is still long, because Indonesia’s population is now 290 million. Only one-third. 289 (million),” he added.
Qodari continued that from 1 January to 3 May 2026, the Ministry of Health has conducted screenings on 4.8 million school-aged children in 48,000 schools.
Therefore, Qodari called for more in-depth follow-up analysis regarding the causes of children experiencing high blood pressure.
“This means there must be a more in-depth analysis of why our children are already experiencing high blood pressure. This high blood pressure, if it continues, will lead to heart disorders,” he added.
